"Jin" Pole
I acquired this Jin pole in the early 70's. It has hauled up dozens of Conic Shelters... Many of which remain up and utilized and lived-in to this day.

Rear of Three Pillar Supports
Elongated during erection, the generator poles provide an anchor point for guiding the base of the other generators into place.
|
Levitation
The sissor bi-pole (not a tripod) hauls up the generator for positioning on the stainless bracket. A delicate manuver that works everytime.
|
Nearing Complete Blossoming
Learned some thing in this new erection process. Would do it differently next time. But the concept of attaching the panels while you are errecting the conic is solid. All the geometry clicked-in and the Conic soon achieved perfect symmetry and accompanying strength.

Rear Pillar

Final "Outer" Row is Attached
From what I learned from this experimental erection process, the outer row of plywood could also be attached during the erection. More details will emerge on the refined technique.
